Has anybody had any experience with DC throttles made by GML enterprises? How were they? Did you have any problems? I’m particularly interested in their use with 2 rail O scale.
A few years back I was considering walkaround throttles and did a investigation into GML products. I got 15-20 answers, from home layout owners to member of clubs who used them. Everyone of them was praising the GML units and dependable and well built. I have not heard a negative about them at all for what it is worth
I have one of their throttles - works very well. Have owned it for probably 12 or more years now. They have lots of options which may be the biggest challenge! I purchased a model that lets the train continue to run while you move the throttle from one plug to another. I particularly like the adjustable pulse settings - my locomotives are varying vintage.
They are circuit breaker and fuse protected. I would recommend keeping a couple of extra fuses on hand, just in case.
