The GN 400 just came back this week to the Jackson Street Roundhouse in fresh GN paint. It looks terrific - the crew at Horicon did a fantastic job…
Nice shot, and yes, she looks wonderful! She is a real classic!
THAT is one GORGEOUS locomotive!! I would give anything to see a few more SD45’s done up in the same paint scheme. And I am glad that this particular locomotive was saved for it’s historical value.

I got a '97 Ford Taurus. Ya think Horicon would pain it for me?
Freshly painted locos always seem so sharp. It’s been a long time since I’ve seen the mountain goat logo.
Heh heh … you should see how nice the Wisconsin & Southern company trucks look. I imagine they could do a very nice job with your Taurus if it was made worth their while.

That is both a first class paint job as well as a justifiably lamented "fallen"scheme. The recent work they did on the variant SP scheme for UP, was an eye popping wonder. The bilevel on their webpage is sharp. These folks are at the top of their game.
Wally, I think you nailed it!
As for that 97 Tarus–)Earl Schieb![:-,][:o)]
