Well I sure hope someone has an answer for my $64000. question. I would like to see a picture of, or have someone describe the type of ceiling lights that were used in the waiting room or main lobby of the GN depot in Spokane. I have searched historical societies and the internet extensively with no results. In all my reference material, the best I could do was a picture of the lobby/ waiting room after the 1966 remodel showing the brand new flourescent fixtures! I am looking for the incandescent light fixtures that would have been in use circa 1958. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks
I would suggest, if you’ve had no luck with the respective Historical Societies, that you try posting that question on the Great Northern Yahoo discussion group. Lots of very knowledgable individuals there. Likely one of them would be able to answer your question. Unfortunately, I can’t answer that either. Hope this helps, in some small way.
