go and VOTE

i voted for my man

I just came back ,i voted for my man. Ben and wife

Be prepared for waiting in line. I just voted and waited 35 minutes in line. But that’s ok, it’s worth it to cast my vote for an important election.

I was the first person in my precinct to vote this morning, aside (of course) for those that chose to early vote.

American Republican Democracy in action! Lets all pray for a good outcome (despite political party). May the best statesman win!

I start work at 7am , so I wont be at the polls till almost 6, but given the 10,432 ballet propositions on the Kalifoonia ticket this year, I probably wont get home till 8.[:O]

Good luck to you folks. I hope you get the right man. I cannot remember the last time we from across the pond took such an interest in the outcome of your elections.

Ian P
PS That Jed Bartlett seems like a good man.

That’s interesting Ian. I didn’t know our election was that talked about. Let’s hope that once the polls close the winners will be obvious. I think a lot of us are concerned we may run into recount and fraud problems.

Naaw not here in the USA!

Been there done that.

It took me longer to fill in all the uncontested judges races than anything else. There was no line, but I live in the semi-boonies. If there was going to be a line, it would be between 4 and 6 PM catching people coming home from work. We have a very hot congressional race here.

Controversy? in an Election? [;)]

Just got back from voting. cast my vote for candidate X and ballot initiatives 1 thru 10,432[:p]

Gonna pop a few dvd’s into the player tonight and try to keep myself from getting all stressed out tonight, so its Blazing Saddles first, and we’ll see who wins probably not till tomarrow[:0]

I think a great triple feature for tonight would be Mr Smith Goes to Washington (not you Vic, Jimmy Stewart). The Distinguished Gentleman, with Eddie Murphy, and My Fellow Americans with James Garner and Jack Lemmon.

Keep your eye on Ohio, it think it will be the next Florida! Those of you from Ohio, be aware! I will love you all no matter what happens!

Yes we over here on the other side of the big pond are also interested in the results of the election.

But of much more interest here was the running of the Melbourne Cup a 3200 m horse race (yes even horse racing has gone metric as well) the whole country stops for the 2.30 race, first tuesday in November. I lost $110 but I won $250 last year so I guess you cant win them all.

Rgds Ian

Voting in Australia is compulsory so we don’t have any big variation in turnout numbers.

Hey Guys,
All the best on your election. Later eh…Brian.

It is still the Brotherly Love that bonds us all. [:)]

Well, it’s over, but nothing changed. Whoever doesn’t like it, don’t blame me. Everyone I voted for lost.[banghead][banghead][X-)][:(][}:)][V][xx(][|(][|(][|(][censored][censored][sigh][2c] Four more years of [censored]

Just remember people, whoever gets in affects the rest of the world.
Cheers,

I would like to say a few words about the caliber of people in this forum. In the past week we have discussed both religion and politics and… we still remain friends.

My thanks to you and hats off to you all,

Aapt Carrales
