No way to describe it, except WOW!!!
like it
You have peaked my interest!!! I’m looking forward to seeing the full documentary. Great job UNCW students documenting this event.
OUTSTANDING
W O W !!! That’s an understatement…
Great Job! Had my breath waiting to see if you could do it…
Gotta love it!!
wow
I did not know it could be done.
Very interesting and great video. I’ll be waiting for the full length version. It really makes it more fun when you have a goal to accomplish.
I enjoyed the beginning when he explained that model railroading is the World’s Greatest Hobby. That is why I have been enjoying my trains and various layouts for over 60 years.
Watch my trains run on “Joe Runs Some American Flyer Trains”.
You’ve piqued my interest too! I’d like to see more closeups of the actual train.
I have participated in two unsuccessful G Scale attempts a few years back and can attest that something like this is a very, very difficult feat to pull off. My hat goes off to the Wilmington Railroad Museum’s volunteers on this amazing achievement, way to go Wilmington!
Their reference is to TopGear’s James May. His Toy Stories from 2009 and again in 2011 tell the story that inspired this, apparently. For another treat, take a look at James’ challenge on YouTube. This is also insanely great. Nice work, guys!
What happened…what happened???
Oh man, you can’t stop now!
Can’t wait to see if the record was indeed broken.
congratulations guys
Too many “talking heads” at beginning. Not enough of the subject matter. Common mistake with young movie makers.
Great effort! Please keep us informed of when the full video will be available.
A neat idea, but the video (story) was not well presented. As one example, if the initial intention of running the train outdoors on the riverwalk never came to fruition why bother mentioning it? It proved misleading as the story progressed. Some better camera focus would have been welcomed, too.
