WellI got my Golden Spike!!![:D] but not on my layout!!! Was playing in a golf tournament yestarday & the course is right next to the Housatonic RR yard in Canaan, CT. Well on the 18th hole I said to myself just grip it & rip it and try to get to the longest drive. Well I wound up & let it rip, but I shanked the hell out of it ( one of the things during hte tournament was if you got on the tracks you had to right your name down) Well I didn’t get on the tracks, but I think I hit the back of the engine house, Cause it was something solid!!! NOW RR police I didnt do it on purpose!!!
But at the dinner afterwards I got a golden railroad spike for that!!! L
now I have to try to model that… on my layout…
