Sounds like you need to add a fishin’ scene to your layout.
Up here in New England, any bass that tries to jump out of the lake is going to hit his head on about a foot and a half of ice.
Living outside of Syracuse, New York, I can only dream of the day that I can go bass fishing. Just as Misterbeasley, the bass around here aren’t ready to do any jumping out of water.
Besides, we just got about another 6 inches of snow last night. At least it’s light and fluffy this time.

Hey! I seen that lake on BassMasters.
Around here, it’s mid-May when they start laying eggs and will hit anything that moves–especially a Power Bait salamander. But it’s all ketch and letter go until June 15th.
Not that it matters. Around here the power plants put out so much mercury that it’s suicide to eat the fish. (3 times the national autism rate too.)
