I loved watching the layout video for Dave Neena’s Tehichapi Loop Layout. As someone who grew up in the 1990s and plans on modeling the second and third generation diesel era, it got me thinking about other layouts that model that era of railroading.
What do you guys think are good examples of layouts that model anywhere from the late 60s - early 00s?
There are several that comes to mind.
Tony Koester’s old Allegheny Midland Road.
Bill Darnaby’s Maumee Route
Allen McClelland’s Virginan & Ohio.
Eric Brooman’s Utah Belt
Jim Hediger’s Ohio Southern
There are many others.
That BN layout on youtube(can’t remember the owners name) it’s on BLMA’s channel. The Oregon Joint line, the owner shared it on the BN modelers group on FaceBook, great looking N scale railroad.
