Has anyone found a good source for good train art.
I would like a buy a few large pieces for my new train room.

I have 3 of Angela’s pieces, but I don’t keep them in my train room, I have them upstairs where I can enjoy them ALL OF THE TIME!!![:D]

Oops, sorry JayJay I didn’t mean to take your link, but this it their page specificly for Fisher, and in their opinion he is the best!!! I won’t argue that.[:)]
Gil Reid gets my vote. Maybe because he lives near me and has done some , alot of local scenes that have some fond memories of growing up around here.
By the way, he has a print “Ten-Wheeler Tradition- CNW 1385” that he done in the “Butler yards”, hint my screen name. Also I live in Butler, WI where I have spent many hours at the exact location where that was “made from.” On the bridge overlooking the south end of the yards!

Ah, Yes. Larry Fisher does do very nice work, I would recommmed him as well.
I would also suggest Scotty Scott.
Another choice would be Ted Rose. He died in 2002 and as far as I know you can’t purchase prints of his watercolors but one of the calendar manufacturers turns out annual calendars and they have prior years available. The calendar prints are big enough so that you could frame them if you wanted to.

Have any of you found good artwork at the TCA York show?
The post office offered a set of four paintings with some train related stamps along the bottom. They were around 150 bucks each but came with a nice frame and matting. They were four different passenger locos and they look pretty to me. Of course I am a neophyte when it comes to identifing the old steam locos and the parts on them, so I don’t know if they are technically correct.
