Gorillapod for layout photography

I got a Gorillapod for Christmas–it’s a great way to take photos on a layout. Anyone else use one?

If you want to get it closer to the layout, a bean bag can be used to support the camera. You might want to put down a piece of cellophane first to keep ground material from sticking to the bean bag.

They still make cellophane?

LION has a fairly large SLR camera, but sometimes a much smaller camera is needed to get the down close and personal shots that we are looking for.

Gorillapods are awesome! We also bought one for our nephew for Christmas. Holds the Nikon D5000 every which way. I wrap it around a chair back for photo’s just off the layout. [tup][tup]
