Got My CTT Truck and Boxcar Today!!!!!!!!!!!!

[tup] I got the 20th anniversary CTT Truck and 40 foot reefer delivered today. My bride first frowned about “another train” but when I opened the box, she really liked the Truck and was OK about the Reefer. They are very well done. I am looking forward to adding this set to my layout. The two of them are noticeably heavy and well made. The detail is such that they would not look out of place on most layouts. For those who have ordered, I think you will be happy with them. For those who have not ordered, you may want to think about it. I was not happy about the price, but they are limited and it will probably be some time before we see another offering like this.

Ordered mine from John’s link, while I was in Charlotte. Got notice yesterday it was shipped. Fast service.

Got mine.

Got my notice or confirmation that my truck is on the way !! Hope it gets here for Sunday Photo Fun !! [:D] [tup]

Received email confirmation that mine has shipped! WHOOHOO!!!

This may be a dumb question but I am still a newbie. Are these boxcars built to traditional or standard size?

The reefer is scale sized (40 foot).

The delivery truck is 1:50 scale but it looks fine next to nearly all 1:43 cars and trucks.

I ordered a truck. It has been shipped.

I really needed another truck. [:)][:-^][;)]

Ordered the truck today - just could not resist the temptation! Looking forward to receiving it!

Ordered my Boxcar yesterday, hope to see it by Monday…!! It looks really good (and probably better being pulled by my new CNJ BEEP!)[swg]

I got mine today !!!

Got mine. Reefer has outsanding details. Door open and hatches too.

My truck arrived today as well. Wife really liked it too!

Does anyone know or think the reefer would handle 027 curves? I couldn’t tell from the photo.

Doug,
If someone doesn’t let you know before I get mine I’ll measure it and let you know!

Hopefully it arrives today!

Thanks, Brent! I would be disappointed to get it and not be able to run it (Like I’ve done in the past).

The truck rolled up here today. I think it probably needs an oil change though with over 4,000 miles on it. I noticed on the box it originated in Carson, Ca. (about 6 miles from here), then went to Wis, and back again.

Since it originated here in Calif., at least I don’t have to worry about getting it to pass SMOG tests, since it is mandated to come equiped on the trucks here.

Mine truck came today. It’s very nice but I think it’s just a bit on the large size & plus I thought the doors were supposed to open. I must have imagined that !!

OOps !! It’s the reefer that has opening doors, sorry !!

Thanks, John

Nothing when I got home today. [:(] Hopefully tomorrow…

Brent

THEY’VE ARRIVED!!! THEY’VE ARRIVED!!!

Gotta say CTT these are some very impressive items! The detail on the reefer is just incredible! The truck is the same size as the B&O delivery truck I purchased on Saturday…
