Governor proposes $82.7 million winter resiliency plan for MBTA

Im glad to see this plan is goin ahead considering MBTA started only this past winter, it didnt wait 51plus years of delays due to winter to get this plan into action, good job

I’m a member of the Boston Street Railway association and I recently got the yearly list of all the Equipment availbale and needed to run all operations plus their schedule for every route on both heavy rail and light rail for Boston. In the inventory for the commuter rail is Two Russel snow plows and yet I never once saw them out clearing any main line tracks. Instead they tried ramng the engines and the Control cab cars into the snow to force their way through and it ended up damaging much of the equipment.
