Anyone have one of the traditional sized gp-30s and can tell me how it looks proportionally to the tradtional rolling stock? Any feedback would be great.
I have the Chessie GP-30 from the Chessie Diesel Freight set and the Legacy Chessie GP-30, I think these are scale but they look great pulling scale cars or any of the traditional freight.
I’ll see if I have some pics at home, if not I guess I could be tempted to put them on the track and line up some scale and traditional stock behind them… but please don’t twist my arm too hard! [;)]
That would be great, ive been scaning youtube to see if i can find any. I got a good deal on a prr coal train set and i needed a good tradtional diesel.
The PRR Coal train set is a great set. Hope it comes with the dummp GP30 too. Saw this at my LHS and it is a wonderful running and looking set. Hope you get it.

I have the PRR GP30 and it looks great. I run it with the dummy PRR RS11
The M.T.H. Premier and Lionel models of the GM-EMD GP30 Diesel-Electric Locomotives are full scale models. The traditional rolling stock will look better if you put a few short full O Scale cars between them and the GP30 Loco. Run a train of just traditional O Gauge Lionel cars behind the front scale cars.
