Does anyone know of an article in a modeling mag on how to model a GP28?

OK, crpulse, give me a run down on just what and where a GP-28 is. I’m guessing it’s a re-build by a particular railroad.

What did they start out as, or am I just hopelessly ignorant about this locomotive?

Thanks for the info. And I shoud have guessed that the IC would have them! I’m just surprised they weren’t built in Paducah.
