Quick! I need to know how to remove a shell from a DCC-equipped GP38-2 from Roco so I can paint it. Please help!
look around for either spread pins to hold the shell on, or screws underneath.
A tinny screwdriver spreads the shell and carefully lift the shell off, thats how athearns work and others. otherwise you need to hunt and peck for the releases to get the shell off. I dont have on in hand to peek on, so thats all I can offer.
Do you have photos of that Roco GP38-2 like to see what it looks like.

There seems the be a series of clasps.
I got the shell off using tiny screwdrivers to spread the clasps. Thanks for all your help.
