Grain elevators on former SOO/WC line

I am looking for any information relating to grain elevators on the former SOO/WC line between Sault St. Marie, MI and Argonne, WI. I believe this line is now operated by CN? I know that predominantly the lumber industry dominated the upper peninsula but I’m sure there had to be some agriculture in that area. Originally this was the SOO’s Soo sub and Pembine sub. If there was no elevators on line was there any at the ports of St. Ignance or St. Marie? Thanks for everyone’s help!

I have driven along the line several times(in the 70’s - 90’s). I never remember any ‘grain elevators’ on the line - there were some ‘feed mills’. Most of the traffic was either through SOO-Mpls overhead, or paper mill traffic.

There was an elevator at Gladstone, MI for transfer from Rail to Ship in the early Twentieth Century, but most crop farming in NE Wisconsin was feed grains for local livestock consumption. Land in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan is poorly suited to growing crops.
