Andrew & Courtney, too bad you don’t live nearby in Delaware, USA; My grandkids range from 14yrs to 3 yrs and they all play with my trains. I don’t even watch the older ones, they just do it! Even have to run a special train consist headed by Thomas when the 3 yr old is here! It’s thier right to make pop pop get things running when they’re here, forget about cooking dinner, run the trains!
A DECLARATION OF GARDEN RAILROADANCE

My Grandson (3 years old) went to Melbourne (Victoria) with his parents for a holiday over Christmas and for a treat they all went for a ride on Puffing Billy. (narrow gauge tourist railway)
He was so excited he has not stop talking about it since, but I was more amused at a question he asked his father.

my grandson lives in N.C. I get to see him 2 time a year ,he likes to come hear for the trains ,HE will be 6 this year. Ben[:D]

The best part about having grandkids is that when they misbehave, youv’e spoiled them enough to get them on a sugar high, or if you are tired of them, you get to give them back to the parents!!! Seriously though, it’s watching the wonder when they see something new and then the satisfaction when they understand what’s going on! Course the hugs and kisses are pretty neat also!
We try so hard to teach our kids and then my parents mess it all up! [;)] Seriously, it is a real pleasure to watch the Grandparents with our kids. Always so proud of them and eager to do whatever with them. [:D] Later eh…Brian.
