I was just wondering what is up with Doug and Barbra Geiger and their Granite Mountain RR? I have the video by Allen Keller, but I haven’t seen anything about it in the model press recently.

Well, the Granite Mountain is still listed as active by the OpSIG.
Doug Geiger was a very active author for Randy Lee’s “Modeling Railroading” magazine, writing product reviews and covering the work he was doing on various aspects of the Granite Mountain. For a list of the articles he published, see the Model Train Magazine Index.
It’ll be interesting to see whether he puts together any articles for other magazines now that “Model Railroading” has ceased publication. I really like the concept behind the Granite Mountain.
Thanks Fritz. I knew he did a lot of work for the other “MR”. I guess I just found it to be a bit odd that someone who is by trade a computer type and has a very well know model railroad doesn’t have a web page or blog about it.
