I can not help, but think of these guys as modelers in a larger scale. If you read the text, their plan sounds just like any other modelers. I’m impressed, looks so life like. [:-^] [swg]

Define the term “Modeler”? Today, it’s meaning is far different that it was as little as 20 years ago.
I guess if the people involved in the restoration of the train in the photo want to think of themselves as modelers, I’m good with that. However, I’m betting that they probably look at themselves as something different.
Modeler definition aside, I can’t help but notice how much they mirror the plans that we make. They are, after all, modeling something that is long gone.
Planning the turn tables, buildings etc.
