Maybe sometime there can be a area made here in the forum where people can post there pic’s for a kinda record of what they have done and give others the chance to see their great work and give the rookies [:)] and newbies[:p] a chance to see some different ideas of what can be done on layouts.

there is a post that goes around called “weekend photo fun”…there, a lot of us post pictures of our layouts or most recient projects…if you go to www.railimages.com there are loads of other people’s layouts in there and most of them are pretty good!..this is a long term learning process and that’s what’s great about this hobby…you’re never done with it and there’s always room for improvement to add to the new ideas you can get from this forum…by the way…i see you’re from Del rio…i used to live there when i was a kid and my dad was in the Air force stationed at Mclaughlin…chuck
Chris–
A lot of us have our layout website connections showing at the end of our posts, also. This has given me a chance to see some absolutely wonderful modeling projects. Don’t pass up a chance to click on to these websites–I just came off of Jim Murray’s San Juan Southern, for instance, and his photo gallery is a complete step-by-step instructional on how he built his railroad. That’s just one instance. I’m learning a lot from clicking on to these websites as they show up in the posts.
