If you remember in February I had some great railfanning luck, but no camera. This past weekend (3/24-3/37) I was in the Chicago area for a wedding and got in some railfanning with spectacular luck and a higher-res digital camera than normal.
Shortly before the wedding my dad and I had some time to kill before the chapel opened so we headed over to the Naperville Amtrak/Metra station. In about a 45 minute period I saw 2 California Zephyrs (east and west), one Metra with a F40M-2 (I don’t normally get to see those since I’m normally fanning on the UP West line), and a BNSF freighter with a warbonnet.
