Great train robbery: Passenger nabbed trying to rob Amtrak dining car

Wow, this guy really thought this out well.

Sounds like Kwane has him a scam going.

Sounds like Kwane has him a scan going.

Make that HAD a scam going. He’ll be scamming in the big house.

Genius.

His next train ride will be to Pontiac, Illinois.

And we thought train robbing was dead…

Nice!!!

Wow. Somebody needs to swallow their pride and work at the golden arches if he’s THAT desperate…

2 geniuses.

The, Not so Great Train Robbery…

Hopefully he will learn how to make license plates

A tip for the dining car crew: don’t leave money lying around carelessly. I’ve seen this. While it may be “the company’s” and not personal, you’re accountable when some’s missing. Some Amtrak employees don’t always “get” this. I always wonder about tips left on tables by previous patrons for long periods of time, too. It doesn’t take much for sticky fingers to act. Maybe this is an oversight deserving a remedial class session?

This is the Not so Great Train Robbery!

To Z.Smith’s comments, Amen to that. Guy must be a member of the Tealiban or Darth Chaney’s apprentice lol.

I’d check to see if this dufus is really D.B. Cooper.

If you Google the suspect’s name, it would appear that he is no stranger to the criminal justice system. Assuming that there aren’t a whole lot of 42 year old men who share that name, he’s got a few mugshots online already. Given that the man was reported to have a number of tickets on his person, you have to wonder how many people he ripped off on that train and other modes of transport.

Unless he did this to feed his babies or put a roof over their head he should be shot where he stands.

A detective I knew used to say:
“There’s so many of them, thank GOD they’re so stupid.”
