Greeley Freight Station Museum model train layout - Klamath Falls to Quartz Mountain
I have spent many hours watching the trains run on this layout, but riding the trains is even better. Great job here and in person.

Without a doubt, this has to be the best video I have seen to date. The scenery captures all that is modeling and the drivers view from the cab shows the detail achieved by the modellers. Fantastic and well done to all concerned.

This layout’s scenery may be the most realistic I’ve seen. I’m familiar with northern California and the work on this railroad is amazing.
What great scenery photography and sound, but best of all how one is able to enjoy these without the constant intrusive noise of unnecessary MUSIC>>>

A VERY impressive video! Congratulations to everyone who had a hand in building the layout. The scenery is awesome! I used to spend a lot of time around Crawfoed Notch, New Hampshire watching the Maine Central drag heavy trains up the mountain, and I had the same feeling watching those 5 units WORKING to get a heavy train up the grade…the train speed is perfect!
I got to see the layout just before it was open to the public. But I only got to spend an hour. It was fantastic. I hope I can get back sometime soon and spend a day or two checking it out and getting ideas. Thanks to all those that have devoted so much time to creating such an inspiring layout. And the video is super. I can’t wait for the next installment.
Wow I hope my layout the Cat Canyon and Western turns out half as nice as this one. T his is one of the best I have seen!
What a refreshing example of master building in model railroading! Excellent scenery…and a outstanding edit job on the video. The mountain scenery work is truly outstanding.
