DIY has done a number of features from Greenfield Village at the Ford Museum in Dearborn. This reminded me that about 20 years ago, one of the plastic kit manufactures did a whole series of buildings that have been moved to Greenfield Village. Among them were The Wright Brothers Bicycle Shop, Edison’s Laboratory, Ford Motor Co. etc. Does anyone know if these kits are still being produced.
Heljan did these for Concor, but I have not seen them advertised for many years. Maybe ebay?
Contact the museum and ask them. They may even sell them in their gift shop.
I went there about 30 years ago. Neat museum.
Bachmanns Mikes seed and feed is actually the Walthers Cornerstone kit of Henry Fords 1st Factory. You can still pick it up at your LHS or on ebay. Kevin
