I truly hope you enjoy yourself at this show, the last show I attended in Edison was a drag. The only reason it was’nt a complete disapointment was because I love trains to much to be completly turned off.
The train show was surpisingly good. Lots of O, HO, Lionel, toy and antique trains and artifacts. Anything one could desire unless one went there specifically to buy N Scale steam as I did. I was one of the many who were, to use the vernacular of the U.S. Army, SOL.
One dealer had a Model Power Mikado with a Vandy tender, a MP Pacific with a standard tender and two nondescript Bachmann switchers. Not even Spectrum. A second dealer had a good selection of Atlas and Kato diesels and freight cars, all at a decent price but no steam. He did take time out from his leisurely schedule to tell me about the grand and glorious selection and variety of steam locomotives he had back at his shop in Indiana.
Oh well! There’s another train show at Hara Arena in November. In the meanwhile, Dayton Model Railways here I come. [:)]
