Heyy Guys I Am Starting Too Work With Ground Cover But I Read in a magazine that you can mix it with peatmoss? how is this done? also do you mix your WS grass with anything let me know! thnx keith!
I read that article. It said something about sifting it through variable-sized screens, including a bug screen from a window. I used this technique after I bought a 5 pound bag of the stuff. It works relitively well. Did you happen to see the 4-part series entitled “Building the Stoney Creek?” The ground cover used on that layout was peat moss. The builder used the same technique for applying the ground cover; just cover the area in a thick layer of latex-based paint (brown or tan in color) and sprinkle it on until the brown is gone. Then secure it with Scenic Cement from Woodland Scenics.
Hope this helps.
