Group seeks to preserve Ontario Northland
There is more to the province than the GTA and it is time that premier Dalton McGuinty learned there is a strong northern support for Ontario Northland and he should meet with the northern communities to work out an agreement to keep this railroad running.
Been on this line several times the trains always seemed to be well patronised, I’ve always enjoyed travelling on this line the trains have a very friendly atmosphere and a great buffet car serving great chilli. I’m sure that it won’t close because that would leave Musonee plus all the other settlements isolated.
Anyway I’m checking flights to Toronto, just got to have another bowl of that chilli
On a purely personal note, if you have not ridden the Northlander between Toronto and Cochrane, now is the time to do so. It is a pleasant trip with a friendly crew, clean equipment, and a reasonable selection of food and beverage items. Trust me, they can use your support.
