My layout is HO and I would like to have guardrails for some of my roads. I was just wondering what people did for this. Are they easily built or can you buy them already made? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.
A company called Pikestuff makes them and there pretty good looking if you paint and weather them.

[#ditto] i have them too, easy to assemble and paint, very realistic.
Thank you for your help, those are what I am looking for.
aburke252,
The Pikestuff guardrails are great. [:)] I intend to use a couple near RR crossings on my layout. But, if you need a lot of guardrail you might go broke. I don’t know how much guardrail you need, but on my BRVRR I needed more than 7-feet. [:(]
I made mine from Evergreen strip stock. They turned out pretty good. For the cost of about eighteen inches of Pikestuff guardrail I got what I needed and still have enough materials left to do it again, almost.[:D]
There are photos on my website of my home-made guardrails on my highway viaduct. The link is in my signature, pu***he Layout Button.[:D][:D]
