Another manufacturer is throwing their hat in the ring with the announcement of a new tooling GP38-2. It will be released in a DCC and DC version. No road names posted yet. It’s Bachmann. So for those of us who think that prices are too high there will be another alternative to the high priced Walther’s P2K line. They have test shots posted now and it don’t look bad.

Bachmann will also be releasing a re-tooled SD40-2 at the same time. It too will come with and without DCC. They have a picture of their old BN SD40 from the 1980s, and it looks pretty good, too.[:)] Of course, they will be filling in the pilots and upgrading certain parts of it.[:D]

Hmmmm…looks good. Even has seperately applied cut bars. Too bad about the molded on grab irons…But the window glazing looks pretty thin from what I can see[tup]
It’s just too bad there isn’t a GP38-2 in N, besides the old Kato…
