This is an excellent general discussion of NG rr’g. Tony covers both eastern and western rr’s. There are many photos and illustrations to help capture the flavor of this unique feature of the mining and lumber industries primarily. A mix of models and prototypes. Maps. Some track plans. Operations. And some present-day operating NG trains. An enjoyable read and reference. I recommend it highly.
