Here it is! My favorite day of the week. Let’s see if we can muster enough enthusiasm to post a pic or two
Spectrum Heavy Mountain 4-8-2. (smoke and steam effects added digiatally)

IM getting the fever too! went shopping today for a new hat to wear while working on the layout.

Well today marks the completion of benchwork for my layout YAY!!
Thursday I received / installed a soundtraxx dsd100lc in one of my spectrum 2-8-0’s… very sweet
benchwork all done… more pics to follow
now with sound… totally awesome
Bryant,
I honestly thought that was a postcard picture of a prototype train. That is SUPERB!!
Put down the pink hat Javern[:o)]
JJ, you’ve been bit by the sound bug. EXCELLENT! My first sound equipped loco was a Spectrum Decapod. I haven’t looked back since.
Bar Mills wooden fence.

Yep sound is my friend now! Today I have added about 5 feet of trackage and done some wiring work. more to come in a little while. ![]()

Finally got the pictures of my scratchbuilt transfer cobbose up on the net, so here is. I think it came out pretty good considering I’m only thirteen and it’s my first scratchbuild. The picture don’t come out realy good, so the actual models a little bit better.

Heres some new pics of my layout.

Nice work one and all. No pics this week. Sorry. Noah, the tranfer caboose is outstanding whether you’re 13 or 30.
I painted and decalled several ping pongs for LIRR. They are the 2 on the rear.
Excellent pics everyone!!!
Noah,
I’d be proud to have that caboose on my layout.
It’s good to see people posting. I’m looking forward to another wonderful season of modeling and comraderie. Ya know what, I think this board has become as busy as the Atlas board. It seems to be void of any malcontents as well. As a matter of fact, I saw Andy Sperandeo post something not too long ago. It’s good to see well know people posting with the masses[:o)] I’ll be staying here as well as the Atlas board. I would be honored to kick off SPF every week on both boards. It’s all good!
Thanks guys for the compliments, I apreciate it. It inspires me to get going on my next scratch building poject, two new inudtries for my layout.
Noah
Noah you are only 13 so I’d stay away from the inudtries for a couple of years…try to keep it in the PG-13 range…[;)]
My Bad, mispelling… industry… there got it…[:D][;)]

Hello there Joe.
My latest project was to build a GP10 from a P2K GP9 - pretty simple once the paint was off.

Still got a load of weathering to do on it, though.
Jon
Great pics everyone!
