I’m searching for the H0 GE 44tons switcher from Keystone.
All online shops I tried are out of stock and name no date for restocking. The shop should also ship to Germany. I would be thankfull for any hints.
ps. I own two GE 44tons switcher from Bachmann. They have a good price performance ration but I would like some better motor and drive. The Bachmann noise is far too loud for me.
They have not been made for a LONG time - decades. Watch eBay.
Do you have the single motor (newer) or dual motor (orginal) Spectrum 44 tonners? The single motor ones are a significant improvement.
I have two of the newer single motor engines.
The Keystone 44t kit included a NWSL drive with a Sagami can motor. The price was about $90, and it has not been available for a long time. The Walthers web site indicates that they have no expected ship date from Keystone at this time.

That’s the reason why I’m looking for it. That should be much better than the Bachmann.

Problem solved. I could find a Swiss dealer (Rittech) with a kit on stock.
Really?? I thought the owner had past away so they pretty much shut down. I didnt see this message until after I got home but will give them a call on Monday.
