Alright, Linda talked me into setting up my Christmas layout around her Halloween display. (Not that I needed that much convincing!) I’m running my old Lionel steam engine and an old Lionel diesel, plus a MTH trolley on the elevated track. However, I got to thinking whether there were any Halloween flavored cars or engines ever offered. Has anyone ever heard or seen something like that?
Lionel has several, like the one with a punkin popping in and out of it’s roof.
Which higly educated designer at lionel thinks about a pumpkin popping in and out of a car’s roof and expect to be taken seriously in real life…? This really is odd.
The one with the sherrif and the bandit is great, I can see the special effect it has, but a pumpkin…
Plop, there is it, plop, now it isn’t, plop there it is again, plop now it isn’t, plop again the pumpkin, plop away, plop… etc. [:p][:p][B)]

Trainbuddies (www.trainbuddies.com) has the Peanuts car and had the bobbing Pumpkin last week. These are the types of car that they regulalry sell. You might want to drop Bobby Stricklin an email and see if he has any that he has not yet posted.
