Happy 24th anniversary Wisconsin and southern Railroad!

[bday]Today is the Wisconsin and southern’s 24th anniversary. They offically began operations out of Horicon WI on July 1, 1980. Anybody who knows me knows I love the WSOR, so I wanted to let you all know about it. I’m pretty sure there 1st paint sceam was a green and yellow, wasn’t real good in my opinion. They then had, for a short while, a few engines in Baby Blue. Then they switched to a slight variation on there present Red and Gray scheme. Durring that time I belive the switched owners twice, but it could have been a few more, but the current owner has owned the company since 1988. I can’t wait till next year when It will be there 25th. [:D]

A happy Noah.

i too will wi***he Wisconsin and Southern a happy birthday. Have they planned anything specail for their birthday?

Don’t think so this year. I figured there’d be something on the offical web site but there wasn’t. I’d bet they’ll do something next year for there silver, maybe even a Boxcar that can roam the country!

Hey guys, I’d send you each a piece of cake but my wife said it would be kind of messy when I try to put it in the computer,…I’ll just take her word for it. " HAPPY 24th ANNIVERSARY WSOR & HERE’S TO ANOTHER 24 MORE GREAT YEARS "…“Happy Rails” Also when the WSOR gets the passenger equipment back from Middleton Wi. soon. Let’s hope they start the train excursions again! YEEEEEHAAAAAAAW.

[#ditto]!!![:D][tup] I’ve never seen the WSOR’s e’s in Person because I learned of them after they were put in storage. I’d love to ride on them sometime.
