Happy B-day? How many more years can 4449 survive as a working locomotive? I wonder what the life-expectancy is for a locomotive.
Well, CP worked their 1880s 4-4-0s into the 1950s in the maritimes, and they are still in pretty good shape, so I’d say she’ll be good for a while.
