Happy Canada Day indeed. What more can you ask for, a long weekend with my Better Half’s permission to work on the layout as much as I want, stunning summer weather, perhaps catch some CFL (Canadian Football League) action on the tube this afternoon and a barbeque dinner out back on the deck…
Life can be good sometimes, eh?

I will celebrate with a hot off the e-presses edition of Canadian Railway Observor.
I do have more than the average number of Canadian railcars, because it makes me feel cooler everytime I spot one…[ip][D]
My biggest piece of Canadian hardware isn’t a train, it’s a trailer – our 1992 M101 CDN 1/4 ton.

Happy Dominion Day ( or as you teenagers call it Canada Day) we are now 145, and I promise not to bring up the war of 1812. (sorry)
