Father’s Day is still sorta new to me as my fiancee’s son (who is 5) started calling me “dad” only a year and half ago. (The real father is loser unfortunalty) Tonight I was tucking him in and he let the cat out of the bag when he siad tommorow I get my “train surprise from mommy”… I love him[:D]…

Congrats on Father’s day surprise from “mommy”. i had a guy at the layout Friday, ask me if it is wrong to runaway to the train layout on Father’s Day. Told him, it depends if you want to runaway from the family or not!
Everyday is fathers day for me. I don’t need any gifts because my boys, 21 & 23, hug me before they leave for school or work. Yes, they still live at home. I like it that way, they are both in college and can save their working money while living at home.

Happy Dad’s day to everyone. My daughter told me “da da boo ah doo”, which literally translated means “Dad, you are the greatest dad I’ve ever had.” [:D]
Always be a dad FIRST before being your son(s) or daughter(s) “FRIEND”!
Reward them when they do well, but never coddle them when they misbehave or disrespect others. Be their role model.
Glad folks out there had a good Father’s Day. Mine tunred out pretty good. Took the kiddo down to my fav train store and got shopping. The girl got me 60.00 in gift certificates! Picked up a bunch of box kits and some new track. Plus had a good day with the Kiddo.
