Ed, looks like you’d tied one on before ya posted! It was the ‘Cherrs’ that gave it away…
VERY classy indeed! But the KCS unit? Yikes, it looks more like a paint durability test unit! Are you sure that’s not what it really is?
I actually know the history behind that paint job- iirc, it was the winner of a contest put on by KCS to have school children design a paint scheme for a locomotive. I think a total of two units were put in the scheme.

It was only one beer, offisheer — honesht.
Cordially, Ed
Cordially as in Drambuie, or Petit Liqueur?
Well, presently I’m sipping a Grand Marnier. While it probably is more of a liqueur I’m enjoying it cordially with my cats. Drambuie, now that sounds refreshing and I’m presently destitute of any stock. I wonder if I could borrow a dram or two from the neighbors?
Still enjoying my fifth!
CHEERS, Ed
If that was the winner, I don’t want to see the losers!
Drambuie on the rocks is actually quite good.

Personally I’ve been enjoying a six-pack of bottled Yeungling’s beer for the past few days. I usually only get in the mood for a beer once a year and that time has come. It’s good stuff and the price is reasonable!
In addition to which Yeungling’s made in Pottstown PA, Reading & Northern territory. And who doesn’t like the R&N?
You’d like their Black and Tans…
Oh, I don’t know about that. One of my grandfathers, my mother’s father, was an old Sinn Feiner. I don’t think I could put my hand on anything labeled “Black and Tan” without bursting into flames!
Although personally I hold no grudges!
Nice! And certainly eye-catching!
You drink them down and they’re tasty. And then you piss them out.
Or make your own: half lager, half stout, and don’t call it by an unfavorable name. I don’t particularly care for Russia, and I don’t like Quaaludes, but a Russian Quaalude is still a fine mixed drink.
