I am interested in the section of the old Big Four/NYC line north of Guilford, IN in Dearborn county. A segment of this is an area known as “Happy Hollow” where it appears that Tanners Creek was diverted in a major project by the railroad to avoid some stream crossings and to straighten the line. I was hoping to find out when this work was done, the old ROW and repercussions on those downstream. Anyone got any info?
