They just got word that they will be performing for the cameras at Herald Square, too! Wish I could be there…but very proud of and excited for my daughter!

I experienced Thanksgiving yesterday too with all the people heading home for the holiday on the train. I’ve never seen South Station so packed.

The tables set. The kids are healthy, and have jobs. The new engine runs and the styrene glued up just like you guys said it would. God still loves me. What more could a guy be thankful for?

I will take just a moment to reflect upon one of God’s singular blessings for my life: I have been in this hobby for over 47 years now and in that time I have met many wonderful model railroaders and you members of this forum are some of the greatest. We may disagree on certain points regarding elements of this hobby but it is, indeed, the greatest in the world and you guys–and gals–make it a memorable experience. I thank God for each and every one of you and solicit his richest blessings for your life.
