Has anyone built the Nano X?

I have the Roco DCC system. While poking around on the web, I found this site:

I’m particularly interested in the command station:

I wonder if anyone has built the command station, how difficult it was and what problems they encountered.

While I’ve built electronics projects before, I’ve never tried anything quite so complex, but some of my friends are quite skilled with electronics.

Have been using Roco for a while and decided to try MRC. I like some of the features but find that I use the Roco more. The problem that I have is carelessness on my part. In changing my system from 6 wire cat5 to RJ45 plugs I accidently had a reverse voltage situation and burned out the Roco. I think I could repair the burnt out parts if I had a schematic to identify the parts. Is this Nano a Roco schematic?. Thanks for posting the links. Any further posts would be appreciated.

Cliff Chief goof up Port Doom RR ( see why it’s Port Doom )

The Nano is designed to work with the Roco Lokmaus. As far as I can tell, the gentleman who designed it replaced his Roco command station with the NanoX.

I also found this link on the above site about fixing the Roco: http://www.dccworld.it/index.php?page=dccpratico/progetti/roco_10761.html

It’s in Italian; my Italian is very weak, so I used Google language tools to translate it:

Good luck repairing it. BTW, I have spare Roco 10761 command station–email me off line if you’re interested.
