Has anyone seen the new offerings from Intermountain???

Today I went to the Intermountain web page to see what was new. It seems that each month, usually around the first, they have new offerings on their main web page. I was very surprised to see that they are getting into the Steam engine game. They are going to be offering a Cab Forward Southern Pacific AC-12.

Now I’m not a huge cab forward fan but I am very happy to see that they are going to venture into the steam market. If their steamers are anything like their recent diesels, how can you go wrong?

Yup. Another high end AC-12 that can compete with the PCM. Mabey that’ll drive their prices down some.

I’m still awaiting someone to manufacture our beloved Missabe Yellowstone. Now that Intermountain is in the steam game, it may be them.

I like the sound of their new FP7s in CP, but I can’t see them on the page. I wonder if I am jsut imagining things…
The AC-12 looks great, what a monster! I don’t like the looks of all the wires going to the tender, I wonder how they’ll disguise that…it looks like it will be a great model, though!
