Has there been any recent plans...

For UP’s SD70 (?) Heritage Fleet in HO? As there’s no way in heck that I could make the SP, MAYBE the CNW, but I doubt it. They were out in G, so someone has the licencing.

Oh, and for those of you with no clue as to what I’m talking about, I mean these:

Flashwave- Someone has these out in HO, can’t remember if it’s Tower 55 or not, but that sounds right. They had an add a month or two back in MR and RMC.

And they are good looking units, aren’t they?

[#ditto] That sounds right to me too.

I have seen those trains in Omaha! I go to climb and stare at them at the Western Heritage museum this summer. They real neat to see. They had three different engines when I was there. The paint looked brand new as if the engines where models straight out of the box.

I have a pair of the Southern Pacific Black Widow ES4400ACs produced by Tower 55. They are terrific locomotives, made by Ajin Precision of Korea with a Digitrax SoundFX decoder installed. I don’t know if they are making the other heritage schemes or not. Check the Tower 55 web site for a listing of their products:

link died. But I found the SP Rio, and CNW.

Now I’m gonna specify that they be vaguely affordable. But yes, they are awesome schemes.

Flashwave,

The link has been corrected. Tower55 has their own web site instead of being a sub catagory of Overland Models.

Here’s a working link to the Tower 55 web page:

On the toolbar across the top of their home page, click “Showroom”, then click on the UP Heritage SD70ACe link.

Don Z.

Got it. Cool. I found prices for other SD70s, around 315. Hoopefully, these won’t go to much higher. Certainly not Overland’s 900.

THNAK YU!!!
