How about a twin motor 200 series Alco B unit? I took two A unit chassis, cut them in half and welded the motor mount ends back together. Installed 2 motors with dual magnetic axles and wired them up to run off of the e unit in the A unit. In combination with 2 A unit’s, it makes a 4 motor locomotive. I pulled a 22 car train with it. Could probably have been longer. Took a light touch on the throttle to prevent wheel spin on start up and to control coupler slack when stopping.
