Anyone have any suggestions on reversing the head block ties on Peco and Shinohara HO Turnouts? Sometimes they need to project out of the curved side of the turnout, not the straight. I suppose I can shorten the ties and place the removed ends on the other side, but I was looking for a more elegant solution. TIA, Ken
I’ve replaced entire headblocks with wood or styrene strip matching the cross-section of the other ties so they match. Once the track is painted and ballasted the new ties blend in.
