In which issue of MR was the article on building the HOG? Cuda Ken revived my interest and now I can’t locate it.

I think it was an online-only project someone did (not everything appears in MR!) but it appears the website’s now gone.

Too bad–it was very detailed.

Please check my response in the shelf layout thread for a link to the HOG Yahoo discussion group. The HOG website is here: http://home.comcast.net/~scottgperry/site/?/page/Heart_of_Georgia_Beginner's_Train_Layout/ The layout was originally designed by Scott Perry and has not appeared in MR. Quite a few HOG layouts (or variants) are being constructed-at last count more than 25 I believe, including my own.

My layout’s design is based on the HOG, too.
