Heavy Rains have caused a landslip on Sunday, just south of Weaver Jc. on the busy and electrified West Coast Main Line (WCML). The landslip has rendered the Up Main(SB) unuseable. This effects services to Scotland and Liverpool. Electrified Local services are terminating at Crewe. Avanti West Coast trains have been operating over the single Down Main with speed restrictions and delays.
