Hi, I’m a new user for this forum. I live in Italy in Turin City.
Hi Buddace,
Welcome to the forum! [#welcome][#welcome][#welcome][#welcome]
How goes it?
I live in Indiana, USA.
Tell us a bit about yourself.
What scale do you model in?
Do you model your side of the pond or ours?
BTW, this forum is a little slower then the General Discussion forum. You ought to go introduce yourself over there too. If you don’t know how to get there just look just above the top of this thread and you’ll see several folders open. Click on the one that says “Model Railroader Forums”, then look for the “General Discussion” forum. Things happen faster over there. Some of us affectionately refer to it as “The Big Room”. [:D]
Fine thanks you.
I bulding mi new layout with my friend and enjoing.
No, I have question about DCC.
I loking information about DCC system made in USA. In europe I know onli Lenz, Esu, Intellibox , very old arnold, trix.
For DCC questions, you could ask them here, or you might get a better response in the general forum, or,…you might try here;
http://forum.atlasrr.com/forum/default.asp .
Down towards the bottom of the page there is a DCC forum where that’s pretty much all they talk about. Those guy’s are experts! I’m just getting my feet wet in it, so I don’t know how much help I’d be. I’m not familiar with that system.
What’s up Buddace?
If you purchase a DCC system designed for the USA, you will need a Voltage Converter. Our voltage is 110 volts to 120 volts AC and the frequency is 60 hz.
In Italy, the voltage is 220 volts and the frequency is 50hz.
Welcome to the forum. I just purchaced Digitrax, so I will be of no help. I do love DCC. Had it three weeks after 45 years of DC. I waited too long. Keep telling us how you are doing. We love our international modelers.
Welcome aboard. Do you model European or American Railroads?
I’m Italian model. I like Ferrovie dello stato modeltrain.
