Does any one know of a company that makes a model (any scale/gauge) of the Washington DC Metro(WMATA) subway trains. I know the full scale ones are currently built in Italy. Any help is appreciated. Thank you.
Walthers did Metro some years ago. Ebay may be your only choice.
The Walthers cars in HO were listed in the 1990 catalog under part numbers 932-6035 for the powered unit @$34.95, and 932-6036 for the nonpowered unit @$19.95. Both are still listed on their website, but marked as “Sold Out” with no mention of possible future runs.
