Hello, I am new here and I have a question about using the site. I can get to the archive section showing all the Model Railroader magazines. In the old archive you could key in a subject word and it would give you a list of all the issues that talked about that subject. I do not see a way to do this in this archive. Can anyon help me?

Yes, someone surely can, as this question has come up recently. I believe someone mentioned a way to do this, and hopefully they’ll chime in shortly. I just wanted to say welcome to the forums. I’ve gotten lots of invaluable help here.

Go to this site, do your search, them come back to look at that correct issue:

It’s not perfect, but if works a lot of the time.

Sheldon, I tried that link and got 2288 hits in 115 issues of 32 magazines. It was a little boring to go through all those hits but since I knew the magazine was Model Railroader I could skip through it quickly. The point is that I finally did get the hit I needed and then went to the archives of MR right here and got the article I wanted. THANKS.

Glad it worked for you. If you click on the advanced search option, you can search just one publication…
